Occupations

The occupation system in Forsaken World, also known as jobs or professions, allows players to specialize in various crafting professions to create items ranging from potions to armor. You can access the occupation menu by pressing the "o" key. This system is unlocked automatically during the starting quest line in Freedom Harbor.

To learn professions, you need to acquire job points. These points are earned by completing quests in the main quest line, which are color-coded yellow in your quest log. At certain milestones, you will receive additional job points. To spend a job point, visit the trainer for the desired occupation and purchase it there.

Some jobs require you to reach a specific level before you can learn them. Additionally, it is not possible to learn all occupations on a single character, so choose wisely.

To use an occupation, select the one you wish to craft with in the occupation menu. This will display all the recipes you have learned, along with the requirements to create each item. Recipes can be obtained from quests, defeating monsters, and events. Right-click a recipe to learn it.
