Paints
Forsaken World Paints — gear-recolor cosmetic items. Apply via item right-click → Apply Paint. One-way (consumed). Tiers: common solid colors, rare animated/glowing variants. Sources: events, Eyrda Boutique, endgame bosses.
Overview
Paints are Forsaken World's gear-recolor cosmetics — items that change the color scheme of equipped weapons, armor, or fashion clothing. Paints range from common solid colors to rare animated/glowing variants prized by status-conscious players.
This article catalogs the items, acquisition methods, and progression paths.
Introduction
To paint a flying vehicle or a style item, you will need one or more jars of paint. You can use either a random color dye (Unknown Paint) or a specific one. The amount of paint required depends on the item and is the same for both unknown and known paints.

When using an unknown dye, the item takes on a random color. The palette of random colors is broader than that of known ones, meaning there is a chance to get a color not available in the known dye range. However, using unknown paint makes it impossible to dye multiple items the same color simultaneously.
Different items dyed the same color may have slightly different shades. In the screenshot on the right, the flight and dress are dyed with "Azure" dye.
There are different paints that dye items in the same colors (e.g., "Pearlescent" and "Champagne Splash"), but they cannot be combined or used together in a single dyeing process.
Below are all the dyes available in the game, sorted by acquisition methods:
Method 1: Dye Boxes
In the Eyrie Gallery, there are 10 boxes available. By opening each, you can receive one jar of paint from the list available in that box. The probabilities for all dyes within one box are approximately equal.

FAQ
Q: How do I apply a paint? A: Open the gear customization interface (right-click the equipped item). Select Apply Paint, choose the paint from your inventory. The paint is consumed, the gear is recolored.
Q: Can I undo a paint application? A: No — paint application is one-way. The paint is consumed and the gear keeps the new color until repainted with a different paint (also consuming a paint).
Q: Where do rare paints come from? A: Limited-time event rewards, Eyrda Boutique special bundles, and rare drops from endgame world bosses. Glowing/animated paints are the most prestigious tier.
