Introduction
The Miner profession is available to players starting at level 30. To learn this profession, visit NPC Jerome in Hossinger. During the interaction, select the option: "Learn the profession: Miner."
The Miner profession allows players to gather various ores across the world of Eyrda and process them, making the Miner an essential partner for Craftsmen, Blacksmiths, and Weaponsmiths who constantly require ores for their work. Mining ore, like other gathering professions, consumes patience points.
Required Tools
Mining ores without a pickaxe is impossible; it is an essential tool for any miner. The first pickaxe is given to the player after learning the profession.

Profession Leveling
The profession is leveled by gathering resources:
- Ore matching the current profession level gives 2 miner experience points.
- Ore one level below the miner's level gives 1 miner experience point.
- Ore two or more levels below the miner's level gives no experience.
Types of Ores
There are 7 types of ores and two types of deposits for most of them: regular and "Rich." From the second type of deposits, there is a chance to extract rich ore, usually used to create blue-quality items.

Mining Process
Before starting to search for ore, it is recommended to set the display of ore deposits on the mini-map and adjust the map scale to your preference.

Click on the "Gathering Points" button and check the "Ore" box. Then click on the location name and change the map scale.

Now that all preliminary preparations are complete, you can begin searching for ore. As you move through the world, ore deposit icons will appear on your mini-map when they are nearby. If you encounter copper ore, its icon will appear on the mini-map. Hovering over the ore icon with your mouse will show a description of the ore: its name, required profession level, and tool.

Click on the icon on the mini-map, and your character will automatically run to the ore. Then simply click on the deposit with your mouse to start mining. A single vein can be mined 1 to 5 times, depending on its type and quality.
At the end of the excavation, a message will appear in the chat indicating what you have mined and in what quantity:
