Overview

Cards are Forsaken World's collectible buff system — equippable item-cards that grant passive stat bonuses when slotted into your character. Unlike gear refining or embedding, cards are class-agnostic and stack across multiple slots, making them a flexible power layer for any build.

This article covers card types, slots, acquisition methods, and how to assemble effective card decks for PvE and PvP.

Card Slot Mechanics

Characters have a fixed number of card slots unlocked through level progression and questing. Each slot accepts one card, and cards rotate freely — swap them mid-game without penalty.

Each card provides:

  • Primary stat (HP / Attack / Defense / Mastery / Resist)
  • Secondary effect (proc on attack, buff during a state, etc.)
  • Set bonus when multiple cards from the same set are equipped

You can collect cards by earning them as quest rewards, defeating monsters, finding them in hidden places, purchasing them at the auction, and more.

Книжка

When you hover over a card, the following information appears:

  • Name;
  • Read/Can be read/Can be read at level N (if your level is too low, where N is the required level);
  • Energy cost for studying;
  • Collection name;
  • Main thesis of the story recorded on the card.

To read a card, right-click on it to open its description. To add a new card to your collection, press the glowing "Record" button—this consumes 1 unit of energy, the item disappears, and the entry is added to the achievement book.

Записать

To read recorded cards or learn about those not yet studied, go to Achievements (L), find Chronicles --> Stories on the right page, select the desired subsection, double-click on it with the left mouse button, and view the card of interest.

Studying cards can earn you certain achievements, detailed in the article "Achievements."

Q: Can I trade cards between characters? A: Most cards are bind-on-use; some are bind-on-equip allowing trade before slotting. Check the tooltip before committing.
