Blacksmith is Forsaken World's Blacksmith crafting profession — forging metal weapons, armor, and tools from ore and rare metals. Blacksmiths supply many other professions and craft endgame gear competing with raid drops.

The Blacksmith profession becomes available to players who reach level 40. Blacksmiths in the world of Eyr use ore, as well as particles and crystals obtained from dismantling items by Engineers, to create items.
Profession
Upon choosing the Blacksmith profession, you must select one of three specialization paths, which will determine the type of items you can create:
- Heavy Armor (Defender, Warrior)
- Light Armor (Vampire, Assassin, Marksman)
- Cloth Armor (Priest, Bard, Mage)
You can only change your specialization by canceling the profession and retaking it. Canceling the profession (which requires the item Fruit of Wisdom) retains all learned recipes but loses all profession development points.
To learn the Blacksmith profession, go to the Master Street in Freedom Harbor and find NPC Jamba, who will be your mentor.

In the NPC dialog window, select the blue-highlighted line: Blacksmith Profession Training, then choose your specialization - heavy armor, light armor, or cloth armor. Consider which type of equipment will be most profitable for you and which will cover its production costs when sold.
Creating any armor requires 10 energy units. Thus, you can create no more than 28 items per day.

After choosing your specialization, purchase the recipes needed to create items. Without them, you cannot produce equipment. To buy them, select the Trade tab in the NPC dialog window. Choose the required section and purchase the initial level 1 recipes.

Additionally, you can buy items from Jamba needed to create blue-quality items by going to the Raw Materials tab.
After learning the profession, you gain two new skills:

In the item creation menu, you can see all the recipes you've learned and produce new items. Your recipe list is on the left column. You can also view your current and required experience points for the next level.
Item Creation
To craft a level 40+ green-quality item, you'll need materials like: Destruction Particle (x3), Magic Particle (x6), Mercury Ore (x6). Particles can be bought at the auction or from players, or made yourself if you have the Engineer profession, while Mercury Ore can be mined with the Miner profession or bought from players. Remember, each item creation costs 10 energy units.

Once all necessary materials are in your inventory, press the "Produce" button to create one item or "Maximum" to create as many items as possible given your materials and energy.
The produced item automatically goes into your inventory, and your blacksmith profession experience increases by 1 unit, notified in chat in yellow.
Creating items using yellow recipes (matching your Blacksmith level) increases your profession by 2-4 units. For example, at level 3 Blacksmith, such a recipe applies to level 60 items.

You will see a yellow message in the general chat indicating you gained 4 experience units instead of 1.
- Important: When an Engineer dismantles items created by a Blacksmith, regardless of their level, the Engineer receives 1 unit of Particles or Crystals used in its creation.
Item Recipes
NPC Jamba sells green-quality item recipes for levels 40, 50, and 60. To get blue-quality recipes, visit NPC Bibimka in the Sands of Oblivion at the Old Station.

For level 60 blue-quality recipes, which you will need at Blacksmith level 3, Bibimka cannot help. The only place to obtain these recipes is the Guild Base, where you must find the NPC - Armor Merchant (also known as Armor Master).

Some Recommendations
- The Blacksmith profession is one of the most resource-intensive in the game, making it challenging to level up without external help.
- Not all blacksmith items are in demand. Gloves for level 60+ are most sought after across all classes, but the type of items sold also depends on your server.
- The attributes of the item you craft are entirely random. Achieving the desired result requires numerous attempts or good luck. However, items with excellent properties are in high demand and can be very expensive.
- For developing a level 1-2 Blacksmith, it is most convenient to create level 40 items.
