Demon
The Demon race in Forsaken World — released with Freedom Falls 2015. Plays Tormentor (Soul Reaper) or Ranger, both M/F variants. Racials: Demon Blessing, Demon Whisper (6s sleep), Demon Gift. Allied with Vesperians via Blood Brotherhood.

Overview
The Demon race in Forsaken World is a relatively recent expansion addition — released with Freedom Falls in February 2015. Demons are rebels who refused to worship Dyos and Nios, retreating into the depths of the underworld to avoid the gods' conflict. When the Storm Legion struck centuries later, they emerged to fight alongside the surface races against this new threat.
Despite their alliance, demons are still regarded with caution. Their distinctive appearance — elegant horns, hooves, sharp tails, and eyes burning with underworld fire — makes them outsiders in most settlements. Most associate with the Vesperians and the Blood Brotherhood, who accepted them as kin in arms.
Available Classes
Demons can play the following classes:
- Tormentor (Soul Reaper) — male and female variants
- Ranger — male and female variants
This makes Demons one of two races (alongside Humans) with both male and female options for multiple classes.
Reputation
The reputation officer for Demons is located in the Sanguine Circle. Demon reputation can be exchanged for XP-boosting items and unique consumables.
Racial Skills
| Skill | Type | Unlock Level | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blessing of the Demon (Demon Blessing) | Self-blessing | 10 | Increases your base attack power by 3% for 30 minutes. |
| Murmur of the Demon (Demon Whisper) | Single Curse | 15 | Hypnotizes the target for 6 seconds. Reduces Fire and Earth resistance by 150. Direct damage wakes the target; damage-over-time does not. |
| Gift of the Demon (Demon Gift) | Single Curse | 20 | Buffs the target's attack power by 50% of the demon's attack power for 10 seconds. During this time, the demon's own attack drops by 50%. After the effect ends, the demon's attack doubles for 15 seconds while the target's attack drops. |
Lore
Demons are stubborn and bloodthirsty, but true to their word and as reliable as a stone wall. If they take on a task, they will see it through to the end... or die trying!
Centuries of self-imposed exile beneath the earth shaped the Demon culture into something distinct from the surface races. Their refusal to follow either Dyos or Nios meant they never fragmented into competing factions — they remained unified under their Queen Rose, who led them to ally with the surface races against the Storm Legion. Even after the fall of Freeport, Demons continue fighting alongside the Vesperians, Stonemen, and other allied races.
Why Pick Demon?
Pros:
- Both male and female character options for both classes
- Strong racial offensive kit — Blessing of the Demon is a permanent low-effort attack boost
- Demon Whisper is one of the longest sleeps in the game (6 seconds, plus a meaningful resistance debuff)
- Demon Gift is unique — high-risk burst window where you sacrifice attack for a teammate, then rebound
Cons:
- Limited class pool (Tormentor / Soul Reaper, Ranger only)
- Newer race — fewer existing community resources compared to founding races
- Cultural distrust persists in some NPC interactions (lore-flavor only)
