Icy Valley
Forsaken World Icy Valley — frozen mid-tier zone (level 55-65). Ice elemental mobs, frost-walking world bosses, Hunting Season hub. Drops frost cosmetics, ice-resistance gear, Hunting Season Points.
Overview
Icy Valley is a frozen mid-tier zone in Forsaken World — populated by ice-elemental enemies, frost-walking world bosses, and seasonal Hunting-Season targets. Icy Valley is one of the most popular Hunting Season locations during winter-themed events.
This article covers zone layout, key NPCs, quest hooks, and rewards.
Introduction

You can register for the tournament through the auto-registration system in the expeditions (T). The last tab "Battlefield," select "Icy Valley," and click "Apply" in the lower left corner of the screen.
Looking for the "Squad" button? Don't bother. You can only apply solo, and you must be level 40 or higher.
If you apply while in the cross-server zone, your application will be accepted, and the registration counter will increase by one. If on your server, you will be prompted to move to the cross-server.
Icy Valley is available on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday:
- 12:00-12:30
- 16:00-16:30
- 18:00-23:50
Once inside, you will be randomly placed in one of two teams: red or blue. There's no significant difference between them. You might be invited at the start of the battle or in the middle if someone leaves the Icy Valley (usually due to inactivity), so don't worry.
Battle Rules
The first team to score 3000 points wins. If this doesn't happen within 25 minutes, the team with the most points wins. If both teams reach 3000 points simultaneously or have the same number of points when time runs out, the result is a draw.
Points are earned by capturing and holding flags of your color. The score for both sides is displayed at the top of the screen.
If you idle too long at the base, you'll accumulate the "Detachment" debuff, and once it reaches 5 stacks, you'll be kicked out of the valley. Skills granting invisibility or invulnerability cease if you attempt to change a flag.
Flags
There are five flags to capture in Icy Valley: Lumber Mill, Dock, Hunter's Camp, Farm, and Lake Altar. The flag's ownership is easily tracked on the map. When a flag is captured, the location name changes color to red or blue, and everyone receives a notification.
Fortresses
Besides flag points, there are two fortresses on the map. The red one is in the north, and the blue one is in the south. Upon entering Icy Valley or after dying, you will appear in your fortress. Fortresses are elevated, and you can't access them otherwise. Inside is the only NPC, Battle Master, who sells potions, explains the rules, and gives quests.
Quests
From the Battle Master at your base, you can receive the daily quest "Reward: Battle Master." Complete it by capturing a flag or killing five opposing team members. Group kills count, so priests won't need to plead for leftover enemies!
The quest can be completed once a day, but you can meet its requirements before accepting it. On Sundays, from 18:00 to 23:00, you can take the weekly quest "Celebration of the God of War," requiring two battles with 10 or more "supports" each. The battle outcome doesn't matter. Supports count as:
- Healing/buffing a character who kills an opposing player
- A character you attacked dying in your presence (even if by an ally) Your "supports" are shown in the last column of the LD participant table.
Buffs
- Red/Blue Guard: In your fortress, you automatically receive a buff restoring HP and MP.
- Blue/Red Sword: Approaching the enemy base inflicts 10,000 damage per second.
- Full Recovery: Staying in your fortress long enough grants a buff increasing speed, attack, accuracy, and evasion for 15 seconds.
- Detachment: Staying in the fortress gives this debuff. At 5 stacks, you're kicked out and can't reapply for 30 minutes.
- Spirit of Battle: After death, you receive a buff increasing max HP and attack. It stacks up to five times if you die without killing anyone.

- Time to Act: Occasionally, you gain experience just for being in Icy Valley.
Scattered Buffs
Items granting buffs are hidden in Icy Valley, similar to the arena.
- Execution Speed: Obtained by picking up "boots." +60% movement speed and +30 evasion for 20 seconds.
- Battle Spirit Madness: Obtained by picking up "Broken Heart," a glowing golden orb. Increases attack against characters for 20 seconds.
- Battle Spirit Madness (same name, different effect): Found in the Red Chest. Restores HP and MP for 10 seconds.
Rewards
You may wonder, "What rewards can I get for participating and winning in Icy Valley?" Let's return to the window where you apply for 12 vs 12 ("Battlefield" tab).
At the end of each tournament, you receive "Battlefield Points" based on your success: whether your team won or lost, if you completed quests, etc. The right side of the "Battlefield" tab shows your total and daily points.
Winning a battle today allows you to click the "First Victory" chest, containing battlefield points, numia, and "Glory Shards," needed for upgrading level 75 epic weapons ("zodiac").
The second chest "Available Rewards" is accessible after completing the daily quest in Icy Valley. Rewards vary by player level:
- 40: 30 Battlefield Points, 5 Golden Numia
- 60: 90 Battlefield Points, 6 Golden Numia
- 70: 80 Battlefield Points, 7 Golden Numia, White Rune
- 80: 300 Battlefield Points, 9 Golden Numia, White Rune
The third chest is available on Sunday upon completing the "Celebration of the God of War" quest. Rewards depend on level:
- Below 75: 80 God of War points
- 75+: 100 God of War points and a chance for a Magic Rock Shard Unlike the first two, the third chest can't be opened in the cross-server zone. You must return to your server first.

Battlefield Points
You earn them for all achievements in Icy Valley and never lose them. Where can you spend them?
In the Hall of Fame of Hossinger, new NPCs, War Commissioners Dorin and Meyer, offer blue equipment, purple jewelry, and items for reforging equipment in exchange for battlefield points, as well as exchanging white runes for higher-level runes.
