Tower of Eternity
Tower of Eternity — endgame tower run with floor-by-floor progression. Level 80+, 5-player party. Drops tower-exclusive gear fragments and high-tier reagents. Long-running progression activity.
Overview
Tower of Eternity is one of Forsaken World's endgame towers — an iconic endgame tower run with floor-by-floor progression. Each floor scales in difficulty, dropping increasingly valuable gear and crafting reagents. The Tower is one of the longest-tenured endgame activities — players have been climbing it for years, with leaderboards tracking floor records.
This article covers entrance requirements, encounter mechanics, drop tables, and progression strategy. For broader endgame planning, see World Bosses and Arena.
Tower of Eternity
The Tower of Eternity is a dungeon available to players who have reached level 75. It can be accessed through the Random Challenge Dungeon III.
Good news for those who dislike running through instances with monsters on their tail: there are no small monsters in this dungeon, only bosses and loot. (Except for minor Cruels, spiders at Pakkara, and hundreds of vines at Terron.)
Here, you can obtain blue items, blue set items, and materials for crafting items from the Hand of Storms. We'll discuss sets below.
In your support team, you should have a Light Priest and preferably a Light Bard with resurrection skills, as some bosses will require the priest to focus on the tank, and other monsters can easily kill careless party members. For the tank role, you need a Protector or a well-equipped Warrior who can withstand hits. For dealing damage, a Mage and a Marksman of the Explosion branch are highly recommended. The last member can be any high single-target damage class, such as a Warrior, Assassin, Marksman of the Soul and Eye branches, or Vampire, as only bosses are present in the dungeon. The choice is yours.
Various potions, drinks, and the Legendary Elixir from the "Gifts of Shalia" shop will be useful in the dungeon.
Once you enter, gather on the patch of land above the sky, buff up, drink and eat what you need, and jump into the portal as a group. Waiting for you there is... Cruel.
First Boss: Resurrected Cruel
Yes, the same one from the Underground Prison. If your group has defeated him there before, handling him in the Tower of Eternity should be no problem.
His attack skills are identical to those in the Prison:
- Area attack on the entire group in the room;
- Attack on a single character (note: damage spreads around this character and can affect party members).
The difference with the Resurrected version is that he summons small minions that can create problems for the priest. Killing them is the task of the Marksman and Mage.
The strategy is straightforward. The group spreads out, everyone attacks the boss, and area attackers occasionally switch to minions.
Cruel can drop random blue items and a helmet from one of the level 75 sets. Defeating Cruel opens the path to the next part of the instance.
In Cruel's hall, another familiar face, Azu, may appear. He will ask you to defeat Cruel or Medea. More on her below.
Unlocking Hard Mode
If everyone in your group has completed the final storyline quest of the Tower of Eternity, you will have the opportunity to unlock hard mode. After defeating Cruel, proceed further down the road, and you will see a strange character with a quest. Taking this quest will send you into hard mode, where there is only one boss.
Optional Boss: Medea, Embodiment of Pain
Near the exit of the hall where Cruel was, stands an NPC snake. Talking to her allows you to summon the witch Medea, an optional boss, and one of her three minions, which you need to attack. Their chances of appearing are equal, and the strategy for defeating all three is "stand and hit."
Let's look at their abilities:
Death's Face
- Drains mana from the entire party;
- Mass stun;
- Mass silence;
- Minor mana regeneration for the party near the Lich.
The Lich drops random blue items and the Void Blade.
Shiss
This boss is nothing special. It's very easy to kill. Besides random blue items, it drops the Eternity Shine, a crafting material.
Embodiment of Death
- Drains mana from the entire party;
- Stuns a random party member.
This boss drops random blue items and the Eternity Whirl, a crafting material.
After defeating Medea, you need to ascend the path to the next boss hall.
Second Boss: Argazon – God of War
With this boss, the difficulty of the dungeon increases. What can he do? Here are the challenges:
- Area damage with slow;
- Meteor call, dealing significant area damage to a random party member (the more party members near the target, the less damage to the target itself);
- Frontal attack;
- Orb summoning.
The summoned orbs are an enhanced version of the whirlwinds from Velkian Castle's Dokaru Lunar. They move chaotically around the boss, dealing 3000 damage per second to anyone they cross and applying a debuff reducing healing effects by 10%, stacking up to 5 times. Be vigilant! (Especially if several orbs are coming at you.)
Strategy: All group members stand in one spot to avoid being killed by the meteor and move away from the orbs as needed. Each orb has a set trajectory, moving in a straight line through the boss from one side of the room to the other. So, it's clear where to move away from the orbs.
Argazon can drop random blue items and a jacket or pants from one of the level 75 sets. There's a 1% chance of dropping a purple recipe for $Sword of Calamity $Sphere of Calamity $Mist of Calamity. After defeating Argazon, jump through the hole in the wall of his hall and find yourself in a gorge. Arachnophobes are advised to leave the area!
Third Boss: Pakkara – Goddess of Mora
The giant spider, the most challenging boss in the Tower of Eternity, has two battle stages. The first stage poses no significant difficulties for a well-geared and prepared party. The spider stands in place and uses the following abilities:
- Frontal stun;
- Poison dealing 1000 health damage;
- Summoning spiders that apply stronger poison.
Tips for the first stage: Avoid the spit of summoned spiders and attack the boss vigorously.
Once you kill the monster blocking the path, you'll see a spider cocoon. Moments later, a full copy of the spider (or is it a rebirth?) emerges from the cocoon. Now you need to destroy the cocoon and defeat the boss again.
The monster can move, continues to stun frontally, and, most annoyingly, regenerates while the cocoon is intact. From the cocoon, swarms of small spiders will frequently emerge. If these spiders live longer than they should, they will self-destruct, leaving purple circles at the site of their death. Any character in such a circle takes a terrifying 4400 damage per second, so the spiders must be killed at any cost. This is why it's recommended to bring two characters with powerful area attacks.
The boss also has the ability to apply a 5-second debuff to the tanking character. When the debuff expires, a similar purple circle appears under the character. The tank will have to move a lot.
When the cocoon is destroyed, the debuff will start applying to any party member randomly, and you can finally finish off Pakkara.
Strategy for the second stage: The tank takes the boss as far from the cocoon and the party as possible, turning it away from the party and waiting. The damage dealers, led by the Bard, focus on the cocoon, where the sixth single-target striker will be most useful. The Priest stands between the boss and the cocoon, keeping the tank and Bard alive, optionally healing others. Everyone avoids the plague circles like fire.
Pakkara can drop random blue items and boots or shoulder pads from one of the level 75 sets. After defeating the boss, proceed straight without looking into the left turn.
Fourth Boss: Terron – God of Desolation
This handsome fellow from the dendropark must first be summoned. To do this, you need to anger him by killing 100 of his Vines. Vines come in three types: some stun, others apply a damage-increasing debuff, and the third type is simply thicker and hit harder. The trick in this seemingly simple stage is that the last hit on each Vine applies a "Savage" stack to the player. 30 stacks on one player = death. Therefore, the Bard and Priest should not finish off the Vines, and everyone else should be cautious and gather no more than 25 stacks or die before the boss.
During the Vine-killing stage, Terron may appear once or twice, announcing the name of the player he will attack. When attacking, he deals damage equal to the target's full health, leaving them with 1 HP, and binding them for a few seconds.
Burned 100 Vines — a demonic tree appears. Besides dealing significant damage and the previously mentioned ability to leave 1 HP, the boss can apply the "Savage Shield" to himself. No, this ability does not make him invulnerable. Instead, each of your hits will apply a "Savage" stack to you. Since you already have a couple from the Vine stage, be vigilant. Any mistake means death.
Terron can drop random blue items and gloves or a belt from one of the level 75 sets. After defeating Terron, return to the fork and take the left turn with the portal. There, an old acquaintance awaits. It's like a reunion tour.
Fifth Boss: Charlotte
Yes, Charlotte. Poisoned, insane, with a couple of surreal appendages on the sides and the motto "We will build the best new world!" Like all other bosses, she has powerful area abilities. Charlotte's main trick is that at 75%, 50%, and 25% health, she will announce in chat the name of a random party member and start chasing them. During the chase, the Defender's "Taunts" do not affect her, and she does not change targets for 15 seconds. Once Charlotte catches her target, she will start dealing massive area damage to them. If the boss targets you, it's best to run away from the party and quietly die, or use all class abilities and skills that can help you survive if available.
Strategy for killing: The tank turns the boss away from other party members, and everyone calmly attacks the boss. Messages like "Feel my wrath, !" will appear in chat, ignore them. You need the message "Control your soul, !" The person she says this to must urgently start running around her in circles, not letting themselves be caught, and this happens three times during the entire kill.
Charlotte can drop random blue items and a weapon from one of the level 75 sets. Defeated Charlotte? Congratulations, you've completed your run in the Tower of Eternity. Exit is that way ->.
Hard Mode
Also known as "hard." It's not called that for nothing, as even if your party is well-geared, leveled, and has three wings, it will still be a very serious challenge for you.
The fight takes place in two stages.
-
First Stage: The fight is no different from the normal mode, but when Charlotte's HP reaches 40-35%, she hides in a portal and reappears in a new form.
-
Second Stage: Charlotte has transformed, becoming angrier and stronger. Essentially, it's a combination of Pakkara, Terron, and Argazon's abilities, with her own tricks.
Special abilities include:
-
Periodic summoning of spiders, which, if they live too long, disappear, forming puddles identical to Pakkara's puddles.
-
Periodic summoning of vines, with the same assortment and abilities as Terron's vines.
-
Each time you remove 25% of the boss's maximum HP, she becomes invulnerable for a minute, summoning adds resembling Argazon's adds, but instead of reducing movement speed and healing effects, a 5-minute debuff is applied, reducing your attack power and movement speed by 10%, stacking.
-
The most terrifying ability is undoubtedly "Cataclysm." Before casting it, you will be informed that a sword has appeared near one of your group members. It must be dug up by a PRE-ASSIGNED person, and wait until Charlotte says there are 8 seconds left until Cataclysm. At this moment, the sword must be used on her. If this does not happen, very high damage will be dealt to everyone.
