Overview

Rift: Water Cage is an instance-tier rift encounter in Forsaken World — a water-themed mini-dungeon with channel-locked encounters, stealth-traversal segments, and a multi-phase boss fight. Drop highlights include water-resistance gear and rare aquatic mount stones.

Players who have reached level 60 can access a new type of raid, Rift: Water Cage. This raid shares many similarities with previous Rift raids. To join, use the Group Finder service or directly contact an NPC in the Dream Forest. Make sure to repair your equipment and purchase necessary potions beforehand.

Once registered, you will be transported to a narrow room with an exit mnemonite: buff up, restore MP and HP, and feed your pets. After 60 seconds, the gates will open, revealing a unique view of the location, and the familiar challenge will begin. The goal is to survive the onslaught of aggressive mobs. During the raid, use Spirit Power (~), which deals massive damage to surrounding monsters and significantly speeds up their defeat. Don't hesitate to use this ability, as it regenerates quickly in this dungeon.

Upon entering the Water Cage, you must cross to the other side of the location. You can run around the perimeter or jump and swim a short distance. Vampires can use bat form to fly over the central platform. Once the group gathers at the designated spot, they should stay put, as the tank or a substitute will bring monsters there. Be cautious: there's a cliff behind you, and if you fall, you'll have to climb back up. Gathering mobs in this rift is quite challenging.

Defeating each boss rewards you with the chance to compete for a Cracked Crystal (Water Cage), a Topaz Shard, and rare alchemy ingredients.

First boss.
After defeating the first wave of fairy monsters, wait for the second and deal with them. Enhanced monsters, Swamp Guardians, will replace the fairies. They appear on the right side of the instance and have a minor area attack.

The first boss, like all subsequent ones, is called Toad Guardian. It has a small frontal AoE but poses no significant threat.

After defeating the first boss, fairies reappear, now capable of debuffing elemental resistance and dealing significant damage. Healing classes and those with low HP should be cautious. After the ordinary mob wave

Second boss.
, enhanced mobs Secret Priests arrive, capable of silencing players, preventing skill use except for auto-attacks.

The second boss is another Toad Guardian, resembling a low-level hobgoblin shaman. It also has a minor frontal AoE attack.

Third boss.
Next comes a larger group of familiar fairies, who can temporarily transform players into non-attacking goblins. Following them are the Blight Riders, expected from the right side of the instance. Apart from a minor AoE, the guardians are not dangerous.

The next boss, Toad Guardian, appears with a Cleopatra appearance from the left side. Its mass attack is slightly stronger but still not problematic.

After Cleopatra, another wave of fairies arrives, significantly increasing in number

The penultimate boss, Toad Guardian, resembles high-level cyclopes and, like its predecessors, occasionally hits nearby players.

After defeating the fairies following the cyclops, move away from the heated spot: a red glow will appear on the platform, and the final boss, Choking Demon, will emerge with unpleasant surprises. This boss has a powerful mass attack, requiring the healer or substitute to monitor health closely. Additionally, the boss can inflict effects: Corpse Poison (gradual health reduction, disabling magic use and movement) and Gummy Taboo (immobility).

Defeating the final boss grants the chance to compete for a Titanium Shard α, armor, a Cracked Crystal (Water Cage), and a Topaz Shard. There's also a chance to obtain skill scrolls for levels 60-69 (Scroll: Shadow Patch Lv1, Scroll: Dispersed Charms Lv1, Scroll: Exorcist Shot Lv1, Scroll: Mercy Lv1, Scroll: Light Music Lv1, Scroll: Earth Scourge Lv1, Scroll: Sacrifice Lv1, Scroll: Thunder Wing Lv1).
