Overview

Fisher's Hunting Grounds is a fishing-themed Forsaken World zone — designated locations where the Fisher profession yields highest catch rates, plus aquatic mob hunting. Combines profession activity with combat content.

This article covers zone layout, key NPCs, quest hooks, and rewards.

Fisher is the best fisherman, not only knowing how to catch the biggest and tastiest fish but also where to find bait, how to craft a fishing rod, and other secrets useful in the Hunting Grounds. Completing this dungeon can earn you many faith points, items to increase potential, faith power, and if you're lucky, skill scrolls.

Access to this adventure is random through automatic registration in the Wheel of Fate.

There are three different adventures: hunting dryads, hunting insects, and hunting nagas.

Dryad Coast

In this adventure, Fisher will take you to the land of dryads. Their presence has disrupted the peaceful life in the village, but they are excellent materials for crafting superior fishing rods imbued with spirit energy.

The goal is to quickly catch three different dryads: Predatory Dryads, Predatory Vines, Angry Trees, and defeat the boss Iafan.

Near Fisher, you'll see three elder druids who, if set on fire, will grant you the following advantages for 60 seconds:

Druidi

  • Green Dryad – Restores health and mana to nearby allies.
  • Black Dryad – Increases attack power of nearby allies.
  • Red Dryad – Reduces defense level of nearby enemies.

Notes:

  1. Each of the three dryads can only be used ONCE.
  2. This is the first stage of the quest from the Development Encyclopedia (obtain Iafan's staff for Figaro).

Insect Lake

This time, you'll enter a location with a lake below, from which the main threat of insect waves will emerge. As usual, you'll encounter three types of monsters and a boss at the end.

The challenge here is to pay close attention to Fisher's instructions. At the start, break a jug, which will summon a monster from the lake. Fisher will guide you to lead it to bait (similar jugs), but be cautious—once the monster breaks them, a significant number of its kin will emerge. It seems simple, but you must focus and leave one creature alive, as when the wave ends, three more jugs will appear near the lake, which the insect must also break. After this, even more monsters will emerge, which you can defeat as Fisher advises. The same strategy applies to the spider chests.

Notes:

  1. If you accidentally kill the first wave insect and there's no one to break the jugs, don't worry, the monster will reappear after a few minutes.
  2. Voracious Spiders cast a "spider silk" debuff, slowing character movement for 5 seconds.
  3. Boss Hyde can aggro any group player and has a nasty attack that takes about 90% health.
  4. This is the second stage of the quest from the Development Encyclopedia (obtain Hyde's rotten meat for Figaro).

Naga Abode

The adventure consists of three stages: in the first stage, break white naga eggs to summon the Shrine Guardian, in the second stage, break blue eggs to summon the Naga Queen, and in the third stage, break pink eggs to summon the Shrine Keeper. Only after completing all three stages will the boss Arkason appear.

To lure the nagas, break the eggs; be careful not to overdo it, or too many will emerge, overwhelming you.

During this adventure, speaking with Fisher will reveal information about the Naga Abode.

Notes:

  1. If you are cursed by a naga, your HP in battle against the Naga Queen decreases by 10% for 60 seconds.
  2. This is the final stage of the quest from the Development Encyclopedia.
