Overview

Faith is one of Forsaken World's deepest endgame progression systems. Starting at level 60 your character can walk one of two spiritual paths — Light Faith or Dark Faith — and steadily grow its power to boost almost every combat attribute you care about. Think of it as a second, parallel character-power layer that keeps giving long after you hit the level cap.

Faith points work much like experience: you bank them, then spend them to raise your faith level and strengthen faith talents. Higher faith means more HP, MP, Attack, Defense, Mastery and Resistance, Critical Chance/Damage/Evasion, Accuracy and Evasion — plus situational perks such as reduced damage from other players, stronger healing, morale and spirit bonuses, and more.

The two paths: Light and Dark

When Faith unlocks at level 60 you complete the Choice of Faith quest and pick your first path. Light Faith and Dark Faith share the same goal but differ in their rune-tree talents, skill animations, and the way they tune your stats.

Each path can be raised all the way to faith level 80. Later on, a follow-up quest lets you begin training the second path as well, so committed players can develop both — though your first, main faith is the one to invest in first.

Earning Faith

Faith points come from high-level combat and a steady rotation of quests and events. The most reliable sources:

  • Glory Orders — the workhorse of faith farming. Each order tasks you with defeating 240 monsters around your own level and pays out a large amount of Faith that grows as you level — climbing into the hundreds of thousands per order near the cap. A limited number can be turned in each week, so make them part of your weekly routine.
  • Trial of the Gods II — a daily run that opens up in your mid-60s and delivers a dependable stream of Faith.
  • Ancient Invasion — a daily event that rewards Faith directly and can drop Faith Books, consumables packed with faith points you can open when it suits you.
  • Hunting and questing — defeating level-60+ monsters and clearing the many daily and weekly quests across Eyrda's endgame zones all feed your Faith total.

Tracking your Faith

The Faith window

You can open the Faith window with the default hotkey V, or via the Faith tab inside the Skills & Talents window (K). This is where you view your faith points, raise your faith level, enhance talents, and manage runes.

Faith is also surfaced in two other places: the character information panel in the top-left of the screen shows your active path (angel wings for Light Faith, bat wings for Dark Faith) with a quick-access button, and the Character Attributes window (C) shows both paths' levels and a progress bar toward your next faith level.

Leveling and breakthroughs

A breakthrough is required to keep leveling

When the faith progress bar fills, open the Faith window and click Increase to raise your level — each level also adds a little HP. As you climb, your main faith periodically requires a breakthrough before it can advance further; breakthroughs are gated by your character level and a short quest. (Nobles can perform a breakthrough without the quest by spending numen.) The second path, once unlocked, levels freely without breakthroughs.

Choosing your path

Древо_рун
The rune tree

The biggest difference between Light and Dark Faith is the rune tree. Sitting in its own tab of the Faith window, the tree unlocks powerful talents as you accumulate rune energy by socketing runes into your faith talent slots — higher-energy runes feed the tree faster. The early tiers are shared between both paths, but the higher tiers diverge sharply, which is what gives each faith its own identity.

Rune energy does more than unlock talents — it also speeds up the casting of many class skills and recolors their spell animations, so a Light-Faith caster and a Dark-Faith caster of the same race can look strikingly different in combat. As a rule of thumb, players leaning toward evasion and critical damage often favor Light Faith, while those building around accuracy and critical defense lean Dark — but the best choice depends on your class, build, and whether you focus on PvE or PvP. Because the two paths feel genuinely different, it's worth weighing the rune tree and talents before you commit.

Advancing faith talents

Most faith talents level up with faith points and numen, but the strongest ones — Superior Health, Superior Attack, Superior Defense, Unyielding (critical evasion), Might (critical damage) and similar — need a special card every fifth rank (at talent levels 5, 10 and 15).

Light and Dark each have their own card sets — Power of Light and Power of Darkness — and a card's name tells you which talent and tier it belongs to (for example, Power of Light II (Defense)). The blue and purple cards are bought with Power of Faith and Source of Faith respectively, so keep an eye out for those materials as you play.

Tips

  • Treat Glory Orders as a weekly must-do — they're the single biggest Faith source and scale up with your level.
  • Pour your faith points into your main path first; spreading thin across both paths early slows your real power gains.
  • Stockpile Faith Books from Ancient Invasion and open them when you're close to a level, so none of the points are wasted.
  • Plan your breakthrough quests ahead of time so a full progress bar never sits idle.
