This article covers mechanics, progression paths, and tips for getting the most from this system.
Display of selected faith in character information panelFaith is a system of additional enhancements for various character attributes.\n\nFaith points are akin to experience points. They can be obtained by defeating monsters of level 60+ or by completing various quests.\n\n### Purpose of Faith Points\nStarting at level 60, a character can choose between two development paths: Light Faith and Dark Faith.\n\nThese faiths differ in rune tree talents, skill animations, and additional enhancements to certain character attributes. By leveling up and enhancing faith talents, players can boost important attributes such as:\n- HP\n- MP\n- Attack Power\n- Defense\n- Mastery and Resistance\n- Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Critical Evasion, and Defense\n- Accuracy and Evasion\nFaith branches also contain useful talents for damage absorption from other players, healing effects, maximum healing effect chance, morale absorption, spirit strength, etc.\n\n### Obtaining Faith\nTo start leveling faith, several conditions must be met:\n- The character must reach level 60\n- The character must complete all previous guide quests\nAfterward, the "Choice of Faith" quest becomes available, allowing players to begin leveling faith and its talents, as well as using runes.\n\nThere are many ways to earn faith points:\n- Glory Orders: A quest to kill 240 mobs at the character's level. Completing the order grants a large number of faith points. Up to 7 orders can be completed weekly. Faster completion yields bonuses: +10% faith points if completed in under 30 minutes, +20% in under 20 minutes, +30% in under 12 minutes. Achievements exist for quick completion.\n- Hunting Scrolls: Daily quests to kill 18 mobs. Up to 15 orders can be completed daily, each rewarding some faith points.\nCommander of the Icefangs\n- Ancient Invasion (Icefangs): A daily raid rewarding faith points and Faith Books, items containing a large number of faith points. Up to 10 invasions can be visited daily, and up to 10 books used weekly.\n- Trial of the Gods II: A daily raid focused on earning more faith points, available for level 65+.\n- Daily quest "Seals of Evil" in the Forsaken Lands: Grants 200,000-240,000 faith points, available for level 70+.\n- Weekly event Grenville Fortress: Available on Monday, offering significantly more faith points for monster kills than other raids or locations in the world of Eyrda.\n- Sanctuary of the Sages raid: Increased faith points for monster kills and additional points for daily quests at level 80.\n- Weekly quest in Dragon's Stronghold: Rewards a large number of faith points for defeating the raid boss.\n- Weekly quest in the Peak of Elements: Grants 3 million faith points for completing the raid on normal and heroic difficulty.\n- Weekly quest in the Temple of Calamities: Rewards 300,000 faith points for defeating the boss on normal and heroic difficulty.\n- Killing level 60+ monsters using the auto-battle function.\n\n### Faith Interface\nFaith points can be viewed in several ways:\nFaith window\n- Faith Window: Default hotkey "V" or the "Faith" tab in the Skills and Talents window (hotkey "K" or button in the main menu). The faith window allows viewing faith points, leveling faith, enhancing talents, and performing rune operations.\nDark Faith selected\nLight Faith selected\n- Character Information Panel: A static area in the upper left corner of the screen displaying main character attributes. It shows the selected faith branch (bat wings for Dark Faith, angel wings for Light Faith) and provides quick access to the faith window: for Light Faith and for Dark Faith.\nFaith display in the character attributes window\n- Character Attributes Window: Default hotkey "C" or button in the main menu. Displays information on both faith branches' levels, quick access buttons to the faith window, and an indicator showing accumulated faith points/points needed to level up the selected faith.\n\n### Leveling Faith\nFaith indicator in the character attributes window\nWhen the faith indicator in the Character Attributes window is full, the selected faith level can be increased.\n\nOpen the faith window (using quick access buttons, hotkey "V", or the "Faith" tab in the Skills and Talents window) and click "Increase" in the lower left corner. Each level increase adds some HP to the character.\n\nFaith breakthrough required\nEvery 10 levels of the first selected faith require a breakthrough; without fulfilling its conditions, further leveling is impossible. Nobles of level 3+ can perform a breakthrough without a quest, but it requires a significant amount of numen.\n\nUpon reaching faith level 70, the "Path Selection" quest becomes available, unlocking the second faith branch. Breakthroughs are not needed for its leveling.\n\n### Choosing a Main Faith\nChoosing faith depends on many factors: character development branches, preferred playstyle (PvP or PvE), focus on certain attributes and equipment (accuracy or evasion), etc.\n\nWhat distinguishes Dark and Light Faith?\n\nRune tree\nThe main difference is rune tree talents.\n\nIn the faith window, the rune tree is in a separate tab on the right. It contains information about tree talents, accumulated rune energy, and skills "colored" by this energy with reduced casting speed.\n\nTo unlock rune tree talents, rune energy must be accumulated by inserting runes into suitable slots in the faith talents window. More energy on a rune gives more tree energy.\n\nFirst-level talents requiring 1 unit of energy are the same for both faiths. Second, third, and fourth-level talents, requiring 35/40, 70/75, and 100 energy units (energy required depends on character development branch), differ significantly.\n\nThe second difference is summative talents of both faiths.\n\nBonuses from leveling certain faith talents can be active even when the faith itself is inactive.\n\nSuch talents are easily identified: hovering over them shows "Standard skill, unaffected by dark/light faith." If this description is present on talents in both faiths, their passive effect always stacks.\n\nSuch talents are:\n\n| Light Faith | Dark Faith |\n|---|---|\n| | |\n\nIf the description is present on a talent in only one faith, its bonus effect works only when the faith without this description is active.\n\nSuch talents are:\n\n| Light Faith | Dark Faith |\n|---|---|\n| | |\n\nTherefore, if Evasion is the most important attribute for a player, they should choose Light Faith, and if Accuracy, Dark Faith. If maximizing critical hit damage is desired, Light Faith is chosen, and if reducing critical damage is more important, Dark Faith is preferred.\n\nSkill animations of Priest-Lycan in Dark and Light FaithsFaiths also differ in skill animations.\n\nAs faith level increases, talents and rune slots are unlocked, and rune tree energy grows.\n\nBesides unlocking tree talents, rune energy reduces the casting speed of various class skills (varying for each character development branch). In addition to reducing casting speed, energy changes spell animations: they acquire a different color.\n\nDifferent races may have significantly different skill animations within the same faith.\n\nThus, choosing a main faith should be approached carefully and wisely, thoroughly evaluating all the bonuses it provides.\n\n### Leveling Faith Talents\nKaiser Peter\nLeveling all faith talents requires a significant amount of faith points and numen. However, for some talents, this is not enough.\n\nA range of higher talents, such as Superior Health, Superior Attack, Superior Defense, Unyielding (Critical Evasion), Might (Critical Damage), etc., require special items after every fifth improvement (at talent levels 5, 10, 15) without which their level cannot be increased.\n\nThese items (cards) can be exchanged with Kaiser Peter in the Hall of Glory in Hossinger.\n\nExchange interface with Kaiser Peter\n\nFor Dark and Light Faith, cards are in different tabs and are called Power of Darkness or Power of Light respectively.\n\nThe item description (e.g., "Power of Light II (Defense)") indicates the talent for which the item is intended, and before it, the item level.\n\nRequirements for special item to level faith talent\nThere are three item levels for +5th, 10th, and 15th talent levels. Their purchase requires Hossinger Honor level 5 and items: Power of Faith for blue, or Source of Faith for purple cards.\n\nTo find out which card is needed to level a particular talent, check its description in the faith window.\n\nHow to obtain Power and Sources of Faith?\n\n| Icon | Name | Ways to Obtain |\n|---|---|---|\n| | Power of Faith | |\n| | Source of Faith | |\n\n### See Also\n- Faith Breakthrough\n- Choice of Faith\n- Choice of Second Faith\n- Runes\n- Character Attributes
