Overview
Pet Expedition System is the auto-quest mechanic for pets in Forsaken World — players send pets on timed expeditions to gather items, XP, or rare materials while away from the keyboard. Pet Expeditions consume pet interaction points (raised via mood interactions) and yield rewards proportional to expedition tier.
This article covers details, mechanics, and tips.
The Pet Expedition System allows you to send your pet to complete various quests or events independently, earning experience, numens, faith points, and other rewards. To use this system, you must be at least level 45 and complete a quest guide with NPC Rachel in Hossinger. The quest is simple, requiring only a conversation with her.
Access the pet expedition system through the pet menu (press "P" on the keyboard). In this menu, each pet has a "Expedition" button next to the summon button. Pressing it places the selected pet from the cage into the expedition slot.
By default, only one pet can be in the expedition slot at a time (an additional slot can be unlocked for 10 gold coins), so pets must take turns completing quests. Ensure the pet is unsummoned before placing it in the expedition slot. After placement, its cage spot is freed for another pet.
The expedition interface lists all available tasks for the pet, including the time and interaction points required. The time varies based on three factors:
Level difference between you and your pet
Pet's color
Total talent level of the pet
A third column shows the number of possible expeditions per day, usually 5-10, making it unlikely to exhaust the limit. However, some expeditions allow only one attempt per day and may be linked to your own expeditions.

How to Obtain Spirit Contract Energy?
The first method is exchanging communication points, one-to-one.
Communication points accumulate while your pet is summoned, one every 5 minutes, and can be used for pet interactions or converted into spirit contract energy. The best way to earn them is by summoning your pet during AFK leveling at night.
If you lack communication points and urgently need to send a pet, use whistles to replenish them. Two types of whistles exist:
Magic Whistle - Adds 30 spirit contract energy points. Cannot be used more than 70 times a week. Sold in Eyrie's Gallery.
Hix's Whistle - Adds 300 spirit contract energy points. Cannot be used more than 7 times a week. Otis Horken exchanges it for 5 Faith Shards.
Note that "spirit contract energy" is a character attribute, not a pet attribute. This means converting one pet's "Communication Points" into "Spirit Contract Energy" allows using these points for another pet's expeditions. If your frequently dispatched pet has exhausted its points, convert another pet's points into spirit contract energy, and send the expedition pet.
Where to Obtain Pet Scrolls?
Purchase with communication points (earned from the Perfumer quest) from any faction's honor master upon reaching honor level 6.
