Nightmare Island is one of Forsaken World's endgame zones — an endgame zone of nightmare-themed encounters and roguelike progression. Players enter together, brave a sequence of randomized boss fights and mini-trials, and exit with rewards proportional to depth reached. Heavy on consumables and class synergy.

Hall of Competitions on Nightmare Island
Once a year, as spring approaches, the fantastic Fear Festival begins for all residents of Eyrda, under the patronage of Buffon the Great. Yes, the same Buffon known from the Fair and Carnival of Nightmares! This event is truly amazing, so let's not waste time and set off on an adventure to the new location, Nightmare Island, accessible from the 2nd channel in the Twilight Gallery, Hossinger, through NPC Hashtakar. Honorable Hashtakar will transport you to an island of fairy-tale beauty, where you will complete a variety of tasks and earn excellent rewards. Not to mention the countless stunning screenshots against tropical landscapes and azure waves!
Let's find out who can offer us quests here. The event guide board near the island's entrance will help us. From it, we learn that several different NPCs provide quests.
Buffon's Quests [Daily]

Buffon the GreatShimmering CoralsGhost Crab
This quest sends us to the golden beaches of Nightmare Island for diving activities. We need to dive into the water and collect 10 shimmering crystals. These can be obtained by gathering corals growing on the seabed or defeating Ghost Crabs.
Note that the drop chance for shimmering coral is not 100%, and the crabs are aggressive. Crabs die from 5 hits, so you can use auto-attacks or multi-hit skills. Crabs deal only 1 damage to players as their claws have dulled on hard corals.
If you don't kill the attacking crabs, the system chat will display: "Ghost Crabs are trying to steal shimmering corals from your backpack...", which is self-explanatory.
After collecting 10 shimmering corals, return them to Buffon.
Reward: 1 Sochnik.
Happy Holidays [Daily]
Gift of Nightmares
This quest involves doing what we should do every day – spreading joy and happiness! To another character, NPC, or mob.
You need to give a gift 5 times. After using it, the target receives a buff that increases its defense and attack by 10% for 10 minutes.
After using it, you must wait 5 minutes before you can make someone else happy.
The Gift of Nightmares is available for 1 hour, so hurry to spread joy and happiness!
Reward: 1 Sochnik.
Hide and Seek [Daily]
Location of MaddyMaddy
For this quest, you need to find the mischievous Maddy, who always shirks the tasks assigned to her by Buffon.
Maddy constantly moves around the island, so you'll need to put in some effort to find her. She changes location every few minutes, so you'll need to run around or ask other players.
Note: From 23:00 to 00:00, Maddy hides particularly well. If you have trouble finding her or lack time, try to complete the quest earlier.
Vape's Quest [Daily]

To complete this quest, you need to be level 55+, have flight skills, and a flying device.
After taking the quest, you need to ascend into the sky above the island and touch five scattered crystals.
Upon touching the first (simply flying into it), you have 30 seconds to touch the next, and so on, five times. If you fail to touch the next crystal within 30 seconds, you'll have to start over until you touch all five consecutively.
This is not easy, as the crystals resulted from an uncontrolled chemical reaction, causing dizziness! The camera will spin, but the character continues to move as usual – a very fun activity, indeed!
Once successful, return to Vape for Sochniks!
Reward: 2 Sochniks.
Vozz's Quest [Daily]
Agility Training
Vozz
Vozz's quest will make you reassess your character control skills.
To complete the quest, you need to survive inside a hut with chaotic wind vortices for 120 seconds. If a vortex touches you, you receive a penalty point.
After accumulating 10 penalty points, the trial fails, and you must start over.
The quest is very challenging as the vortices move quickly, at varying speeds, and constantly change direction.
Prove your kung-fu skills! Once you show everyone you didn't watch Jackie Chan movies in vain, you can return for your reward!
Reward: 2 Sochniks.
Tucker's Quest [Daily]
Mouse Trap for Tucker's Quest
Tucker is very angry that Nightmare Island suffers from a rat infestation, damaging everything they can reach with their small, nimble paws.
Every island visitor fights the pests to the best of their abilities, and Tucker asks you to catch 10 sweet-toothed rats with a special mouse trap.
The trap has a 2-second cooldown, so the main thing is to find a rat!
They can be found in various island locations. After catching 10 rats, return for your reward.
Reward: 1 Sochnik.
Kanter's Quest [Daily]

This small opossum will tell you about strange and inexplicable events at his post and suspicious crystals forming in the water. He asks you to deliver a strange Shining Sphere to his friend Bulba, who stands near the lighthouse.
To complete this quest, you need a companion to form a party, and the party leader can take the quest.
You have 10 minutes to complete it, as the crystal is extremely fragile and cannot remain outside the water where it formed for long.
Another challenge is that upon receiving the crystal in your inventory, you become frozen to the ground and cannot move. How do you deliver the crystal to Bulba, you ask? That's why you need a companion – select them and use the Shining Sphere.
The sphere disappears from your inventory and appears with your companion, but now they cannot move, and you run ahead and wait for them to throw the sphere to you.
This way, you move towards the lighthouse, where you can show the crystal to Bulba.
But act quickly – once the Shining Sphere is in your backpack, you have exactly 60 seconds to pass it to your companion, or it will disappear, and you'll have to go back to Kanter for a new one.
The quest can be completed on a mount.
Reward: 2 Sochniks.
P.S. Not everyone knows that this quest can be completed twice by changing the group leader: the leader receives 2 Sochniks, and the follower 1.
Saidass's Quest [Daily] Bugged

This sage is on the upper deck of a ship docked at the island. If you talk to him, you'll learn that the gnolls have territorial claims against Buffon, asserting that Nightmare Island belongs to them.
This leads to periodic attacks on the island, and every visitor's task is to help repel these raiders.
Gnolls are only formidable in large numbers, but if they suffer heavy losses, they flee in fear.
Thus, when the event starts, all players on the island automatically become participants.
Players must collectively score 1000 points. Small gnoll scouts and invaders give 5 points each, while giants give 20 points each.
Once players accumulate 1000 points, they can approach Saidass and receive a reward for helping defend the island from bandits.
Reward: 1 Sochnik.
What can you get for Sochniks?
After completing all the quests and collecting many Sochniks, what can you get for them? You can exchange Sochniks for useful items with Buffon both on Nightmare Island and Rainbow Island.
