Overview

Peak of Elements is one of Forsaken World's endgame trials — an endgame trial set atop an elemental peak, featuring elementally-themed bosses (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind). Each boss requires the party to swap resistance gear and rotation. Drop highlights include elemental-resistance gear, faith reagents, and the Peak Champion title.

This article covers entrance requirements, encounter mechanics, drop tables, and progression strategy. For broader endgame planning, see World Bosses and Arena.

General Information

The dungeon is designed for players level 85 and above and has three difficulty levels:

  • Easy: For 6-12 players, consisting of two bosses. Can be accessed via the Heroic Challenge of Fate quest.
  • Medium: For 12-18 players, featuring two more challenging bosses plus an additional boss that can drop a pet. Available once a week.
  • Heroic: For 12-18 players, similar to the medium level but with slightly tougher bosses. Available once a week.

Access to the Peak of Elements is only possible as part of a raid through the mnemonic stone on Whalers' Island, in the Free Isles location. Only the raid leader needs to approach the mnemonic stone to enter the dungeon.

Upon death in the raid dungeon, a character receives a thirty-minute negative effect called "Weakness," reducing maximum health to 100, max mana to 10, and attack power to 0-0. This effect can be removed by an NPC at the start of the raid or by Hendalf in Hossinger.

Surroundings of the Peak of Elements (Easy Difficulty)

After successful registration, the raid enters a circular room. Two NPCs are present: one sells potions and repairs equipment, while the other (Morin) provides two items needed for the dungeon.

  • Ice: Needed for the first boss fight.
  • Heart of Flame: For the second boss fight.

First Boss: Shadow of Sano

Once all raid members have taken Ice and Heart of Flame, they can proceed to the next hall via teleport. In the center of the room, they will face Sano, the fire boss.

Defeating the boss is relatively straightforward, though occasionally Shadow of Sano will place a bomb on a player, which explodes after a few seconds. The bomb deals minor damage and applies a debuff called "Pyromania," stacking up to 40 times. Each stack increases fire damage taken, and at 40 stacks, the character takes lethal damage. Using Ice grants a ten-second immunity to "Pyromania."

After Sano is defeated, two portals appear, leading further into the dungeon.

Second Boss: Shadow of Jakki

In the next room, the ice boss Jakki awaits. The first challenge is the blue room, where system messages are hard to read against the blue background. Occasionally, Shadow of Jakki will cast Hail on a player, requiring others to gather close to share the damage. Some players may be encased in ice, unable to move or use skills, and will need to be freed by destroying the ice.

"Absolute Zero" is a debuff stacking up to 50 times, increasing water damage taken and critical hit chance by 1% per stack, while reducing movement speed. At 50 stacks, the character takes lethal damage. Heart of Flame removes all "Absolute Zero" stacks.

Rewards

Completing the dungeon on easy difficulty rewards blue set equipment for level 85+, experience, faith, and 40 Hero Glory points.

Assault on the Peak of Elements (Medium Difficulty)

  • Each boss can only be killed once a week. If any raid member has already killed the initial bosses, the raid will be transported to the next available boss.

Tips for Completion

  • For medium difficulty, gather the maximum allowed raid size (18 players).
  • High damage output is essential; wind bards are needed, but don't forget priests.
  • Light bards are optional; priests can revive fallen comrades.
  • At least one mage with Dispel Magic is required.
  • Use voice chat and appoint 1-3 leaders.
  • Divide the raid into three groups with roughly equal damage output.

Sano

At medium difficulty, fire puddles appear near the boss, dealing damage and applying "Pyromania" stacks. Sano occasionally announces "The spirit of fire turns all potions into poison," during which health potions deal damage instead of healing, and healing skills should not be used.

Jakki

Unlike Sano, Jakki becomes significantly more challenging. Ice shards and Hail appear more frequently and deal more damage. At 50% health, two additional bosses, Jakki Aid and Jakki Voyeur, appear (both starting at 50% HP). The raid must evenly distribute damage among the three bosses, separating them into different corners of the room. Attacking all three simultaneously results in death. Attacking Jakki applies the "Ice" debuff, Jakki Aid applies "Cold Breath," and Jakki Voyeur applies "Water." Combining all three debuffs results in lethal damage.

Jakki Voyeur occasionally receives a healing buff, removable with Dispel Magic.

After defeating all three, proceed through new portals to the final boss.

Final Boss: Charlie Rizos

To summon the boss, speak with the NPC. Ensure everyone is ready and buffed, including pets.

After a short dialogue, the ceiling breaks, revealing Charlie Rizos, a flying boss requiring the use of flying mounts to defeat.

Once attacked, players on the ground take damage and cannot use skills. Reviving a fallen ally on the ground is impossible, but can be done on the roof remains. Charlie Rizos attacks randomly, applying a stacking debuff "Curse of Elements," increasing attack power by ~1%, reducing healing received, and increasing air skill damage taken. Occasionally, all players with this debuff take damage based on stack count (~8-10k per stack). To remove stacks, fly into red mirages around the boss, causing dizziness for 3 seconds.

At 70% and 30% health, three Elemental Bombs appear at head level, granting Charlie immunity to damage. Bombs explode if their health drops below 10%, dealing over 50% damage to players. Detonate one at a time and heal between explosions.

When Charlie's health falls below 70%, he uses "Power of Elements," indicated by five arrows from the boss, dealing massive damage.

At 50% health, "Elemental Surge" occurs, sending ice and stone shards from the boss, dealing ~10% health damage, disabling skills, and restoring 25% max mana. Avoid by changing flight altitude.

  • Final stage: **At 5% health, Charlie gives one minute to defeat him. Failure results in massive damage and instant death for the raid. Ensure powerful skills or blessings are ready, such as "Meditation" for mages or "God of War" for warriors. If possible, land and buff with pets and potions.
