Overview
Temple of Calamities is one of Forsaken World's endgame instances — a mid-endgame instance themed around calamity-spirit bosses. Five-player encounters with mechanics scaling with party DPS. Drop highlights include calamity-themed weapons and faith reagents tied to the wider Faith system.
This article covers entrance requirements, encounter mechanics, drop tables, and progression strategy. For broader endgame planning, see World Bosses and Arena.
General Information
The dungeon has two difficulty levels:
- Normal: For 12-18 characters of level 85+. Available once a week.
- Heroic: For 12-18 characters of level 85+ with an enhanced boss. Available once a week.
Upon death in the raid dungeon, a character receives a 30-minute negative effect called "Weakness," reducing maximum health to 100, max mana to 10, and attack power to 0. This effect can be removed by an NPC at the start of the raid or by Hendalf in Hossinger.

Entry is restricted to raid members and is facilitated by NPC Morin on the northeastern airship in Hossinger. Only the raid leader needs to be near the NPC for registration.
The dungeon entry occurs only if all raid members confirm registration. If any member declines, registration is canceled, and no one is teleported.

At the raid respawn, Morin offers repairs, potions, and two quests. These quests provide items needed in battle. Ensure two backpack slots are available to receive these items, which last 60 minutes. If discarded, they can be reacquired after 60 minutes.
- Spirit Kill Sign: 20-second cooldown. Forces the main boss to attack you when used.
- Julianos: 10-second cooldown, 30-meter range. Used to capture the Servant of Calamities.
Tips:
- Gather the maximum number of participants, 18.
- Light and wind bards are optional but helpful.
- Use voice communication and appoint a leader for coordination.
- Recommended minimum health points: 65k.

Behind Morin is a long bridge leading to the boss, located in a large room with a circle on the floor.
Battle: Normal Difficulty
Preparation
Position characters in a circle, with ranged players forming a second circle. Place items from Morin on the quick access bar. Select two to three tanks and designate a high-health character. Assign a priest or priest and DPS to handle the additional boss.
First Stage

When Khnum is aggroed, Charlotte, Queen of Evil appears. The designated priest and DPS should move her aside. If Charlotte and Khnum are within 20 meters, they gain a damage-absorbing shield. If over 40 meters apart, Charlotte casts a mass stun and attempts to return to Khnum.
Khnum should be led to the circle's center for combat. Tanks should alternate using the Spirit Kill Sign to manage Khnum's stacking AoE debuff "Calamity." This debuff increases damage over time and lasts 30 seconds. Khnum also casts "Curse of Fire," causing damage over 30 seconds and spreading to nearby players.
Second Stage

At 75% health, debuffs stop, but Servants of Calamities appear. They look like gargoyles and can grab a raid member, causing damage over time. Use Julianos to rescue them. Gargoyles fly east and move clockwise. Position players with Julianos accordingly.
Khnum occasionally fires a flame beam, damaging all in its path. After five beams, Khnum uses "Armageddon."
"Armageddon": Khnum pulls all players close and deals massive damage. Move away quickly to minimize damage.
Reduce Khnum's health to 50% to proceed.
Third Stage
This stage is easier. Tentacles of the Abyss appear and must be killed quickly. They immobilize players with "Chains."
Fire Rain: Small green areas appear, dealing heavy damage. The "Fire Rain" debuff increases damage taken during this time.
Khnum applies debuffs:
- "Harm": Increases damage taken, stacking for 30 seconds.
- "Curse of Calamities" (known as "Horn"): Leaves the target with 1 HP when healed, lasting 10 seconds. Target the character with the most current HP.
Fourth Stage
At 25% health, the same mechanics continue: Tentacles, Fire Rain, and Beam.
Rewards
Defeating Khnum on normal difficulty grants level 85-87 blue gear, "Elite Warrior Equipment" (exchangeable for level 85 purple gear in the Hall of Fame in Hossinger), Frozen Flame Crystal, a large amount of experience, 200,000 Faith points, 200 Hero Fame points, and 5 activity points.
The first raid on the server to complete the dungeon on normal difficulty receives the title <First on Server! Khnum Slayer!>.
Heroic Difficulty (Changes from Normal)
Khnum has more health and attack. Abilities are stronger and occur more frequently.
First Stage
"Calamity" deals more damage.
Second Stage
"Armageddon" occurs after every third "Beam." Twice as many gargoyles spawn.
Third Stage
Twice as many "Tentacles" appear. All except tanks and healers must kill them. Six "Fire Rains" spawn simultaneously. "Harm" increases incoming damage more.
Fourth Stage
No changes from normal difficulty.
Heroic Rewards
Defeating Khnum on heroic difficulty grants level 85-87 blue gear, "Elite Warrior Equipment," Frozen Flame Crystal, a large amount of experience, 300,000 Faith points, 300 Hero Fame points, and 5 activity points.
