Overview

Main Questline: Dwarves is the Dwarf-race main questline — covering Dwarven origin as forge-workers crafted by Tytan, their gunpowder technology mastery (which enables the Marksman class), and their alliance with humans through Lionheart. Available to Dwarf characters from level 1.

This article walks through the questline structure, key NPCs, lore beats, and rewards.

  1. On the Threshold of Adulthood
You appear in the village of Zharnitsa and receive a task to speak with Kremenber Ognevo, who stands in front of you if you haven't moved since your arrival in the village.

Today is the day when young dwarves come of age, a highly anticipated celebration. Kremenber sends you to Uncle Henrik, who will guide you in preparing for the initiation ceremony. You can reach him using the autopilot feature.

From Henrik, you learn that the ceremony consists of three stages: 1 — crafting a weapon, 2 — proving strength, 3 — conclusion. Upon completing the ceremony, an adult dwarf can leave the village and embark on a journey. You need to gather materials to make your first weapon.

  • Reward: 30 experience points, level 1 armor.
  1. The First Gun
Cryolite and hardwood are the primary materials for weapon crafting. You will find cryolite in a cave along with excellent hardwood. Once you gather enough materials, bring them to Henrik to craft the weapon.
  • Reward: 30 experience points, level 1 weapon.
  1. Preparation for the Ritual
The second part of the ritual is to demonstrate your strength. You need to kill stone lings outside the village and bring Kremenber 10 small crystals from their bodies. He will use these crystals to make a ritual ceremonial crystal weapon.
  • Reward: 125 experience points, level 1 pants, title "Young Shooter", skill "Endurance".
  1. Rite of Passage
The elder has made the ceremonial weapon. You need to place it on the ceremonial altar to complete the rite of passage. After the ritual, you will feel a magical sensation. Return to the elder to find out what it was.

The elder tells you that something good will happen to you, as it was Balder's blessing.

  • Reward: 180 experience points, numi — 2 bronze.
  1. The World Around
Traditionally, after completing the rite of passage, you can embark on a journey. The elder suggests you speak with his friend Corvus, who is busy at the foot of the Snowy Sunset. But don't forget to bring him a bottle of Ice Flame wine (available at the tavern), which he loves, and a joke book. You can get the book from Huurber halfway to the foot.

After obtaining the necessary items, talk to Corvus.

  • Reward: 441 experience points, numi — 9 bronze, White Quartz (dwarves).
  1. Shots in the Valley
Corvus has an idea of where you should travel across Oste. But first, he asks for a favor, and in return, he will recommend you to the Lionheart Knights. Corvus is here on behalf of an old friend who asked to solve a problem with black dwarves — those who couldn't resist the influence of the Storm Legion. The friend asked Corvus to retrieve their weapons, and Corvus asks you to do it instead. Near the mines on the other side of the chasm, you will find many black dwarves. You need to collect 10 of their black guns and return to Corvus.

Corvus will write a recommendation letter for you to deliver to Colonel Hedd of the Lionheart Knights. He will accept you as a knight. But first, Corvus's friend would like to see you.

  • Reward: 310 experience points, numi — 16 bronze, level 4 belt.
  1. Dwarf Mission
Corvus transports you to his friend Balder.

King of the Dwarves Hiron Hess disappeared during the Oste War. He is not dead, but Balder cannot find him even with instruments. Now, members of the Storm Legion are reappearing in Oste, war is imminent, and the dwarves are in danger. Therefore, it is necessary to find the dwarf king quickly and ask him to rally the dwarves to prepare for the upcoming war. You agree to help, and Balder sends you back to Corvus.

  • Reward: 180 experience points, numi — 13 bronze, skill "Bullet Speed".
  1. On the Path of Wandering
Corvus gives you a recommendation letter. To be accepted as a knight, Corvus's words will suffice. But to be sure, Corvus suggests bringing gifts to the colonel to prove your strength. Collect 8 bear paws and a giant bear's fang and bring them to the colonel along with the recommendation letter.
  • Reward: 540 experience points, numi — 37 bronze, 100 honor points of the Lionheart Knights.
  1. First Assignment
Colonel Hedd orders you to light a torch from the bonfire and return to him for instructions.

The colonel is short on people, so he turns to you. The centaurs have a large cannon of immense power, causing significant damage. Your task is to ignite the cannon. But first, kill the centaurs guarding it. After completing the task, return to the colonel.

  • Reward: 880 experience points, numi — 78 bronze, level 5 boots.
  1. Collecting Poison Glands
The centaurs have raised a pack of fierce hounds. They have poisonous teeth and have poisoned many soldiers. Kill them and bring their poison glands to the colonel.
  • Reward: 600 experience points, numi — 72 bronze, 5 sweet cheese, 5 sweet milk.
  1. Gas Attack
The colonel gives you a gas bomb made using the poison of the fierce hounds. If you break such a sphere, the poisonous gas will spread over several dozen meters around. You need to reach the crossroads and throw the bomb. The poisonous gas will envelop the farm and weaken the centaurs. Then the commander and his men will begin the attack. To avoid poisoning yourself with the gas, the colonel provides you with a respirator.
  • Reward: 480 experience points, numi — 59 bronze.
  1. Attack
The centaurs have weakened under the gas's effect. Destroy 15 centaurs and their commander. After completing the task, return to Colonel Hedd.
  • Reward: 1540 experience points, numi — 2 silver 20 bronze, "River Meadow" map, beige quartz (dwarves), 100 honor points of the Lionheart Knights.
  1. To Greatdol
The colonel is pleased to have such an outstanding representative of the dwarven people in his team as you. He gives you a letter and sends you to Free Haven. There should be someone responsible for welcoming newcomers. Then you can meet General Reggie Jones. He is the assistant head of the Lionheart Knights. The best fighters serve under his command. After your agreement, the colonel will send you to Free Haven.
